What are Honor planning for us on March 29?
The Chinese brand Honor has been experiencing very successful times recently since its independence from its parent Huawei. Only a few days ago, for example, they managed a hussar stunt, when the new top model Magic4 Ultimate dominated the overall ranking of cameras on DxOMark. The premiere of the brand in a similarly selected company definitely deserves applause. Even the flagship Honor 50 line is definitely not doing badly in sales, even though the equipment is more of an upper middle class. But of course the company did not rest on its laurels and on March 29 they are preparing another introduction for us.
And he will try to solve another small shortcoming. Although the company is very successful in the market with mid-range and high-end phones, these are not categories where real profit or market dominance is gained. This requires very cheap lower class phones. After all, the phone that managed the world's most sold pieces in 2021 was the cheap Samsung Galaxy A12. And Honor's portfolio does not yet have any such offer. But that will definitely change in a few.
HONOR X SERIES ON THE HORIZON
Honor did not officially confirm what will appear on the presentation on March 29, but the prepared advertising banners revealed everything in advance . We already know that this event is reserved for the introduction of the Honor X series. It should include three models designed for the lower class, in the form of Honor X9 5G, Honor X8 and Honor X7. The specifications of the individual models are still slightly shrouded in mystery, although such an X8 recently appeared on Geekbench.
With this move, the company will fill the white space in its offer and mainly take the position reserved for its former parent company. It was Huawei that held a very decent position in the global market not only due to its high-end phones. In particular, the cheap Y-Series pieces were among the best-selling models and were largely behind the brand's success. And this is exactly the position Honor wants to fill with its new line of X phones. In addition, the prices will definitely be very interesting.
