Xiaomi 12S has passed Geekbench tests

In the second half of this year, Xiaomi will introduce several interesting phones that we can boldly describe as premium. Of course, all these machines fall into the numbered series 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Ultra model will appear on the market first. This will probably happen next month. However, the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro models are also in preparation, but we will wait for them a little longer. However, both phones are already collecting the necessary certifications and one of them has now also passed Geekbench tests.

XIAOMI 12S HAS A CONFIRMED SNAPDRAGON 8+ GEN1 

The model tested by the Geekbench benchmark tests is the standard Xiaomi 12S. The phone has been tested with the code 2206123SC. The last two letters in the code indicate that the phone is powered by a Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm workshops. From the test report we read that the chipset has eight cores, the designation "taro", maximum clock speed 3.19 GHz and GPU Adreno 730. It is therefore obvious that it is a flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen1.

The flagship chipset was supplemented by 12 GB of RAM during testing, but it is likely that other memory configurations will be available on the market. The tested phone ran on the Android 12 operating system, to which the manufacturer will certainly add the MIUI 13 superstructure. And let's also look at the score that the phone received in Geekbench. He scored a total of 1328 points in the single-core test and 4234 points in the multi-core test.

Based on previous information , we also know that the Xiaomi 12S phone will receive the same as the 12S Pro model and also the premium Xiaomi 12 Ultra optics from Leica workshops. The 3C certification revealed that the phone supports fast charging with a power of 67 W just like the 12S Pro model. We also expect an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a primary 50 MPix sensor. However, both tipsters and manufacturers are still silent about other specifications.
