Xiaomi 12S Pro with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 is 3C certified

We have known for some time that many Xiaomi 12 phones are still not closed and we are still waiting for a few models. Of course, it is mainly the premium model Xiaomi 12 Ultra and then also the models 12S and 12S Pro. The S-phones are actually improved versions of the original 12 and 12 Pro models. A major improvement is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, and there is also talk of cameras with Leica optics. In addition, the tipsters mention that the Xiaomi 12 S Pro will be released in two versions with Qualcomm and MediaTek processors.

The 3C certifications that the Xiaomi 12S Pro is currently going through also prove that the guesses' thoughts are moving in the right direction. Last week, a model powered by the Dimensity 9000 processor appeared on the tables of Chinese certifiers . Its code number is 2207122MC and the last letters in it refer to the chipset from MediaTek workshops. For this model, the 3C certification confirmed a fast charge with a power of 67 W.

XIAOMI 12S PRO WITH SNAPDRAGON 8+ GEN1 IS ALSO CERTIFIED 

On the MySmartPrice website , we can now find information that the Xiaomi 12S Pro, which is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset, has also passed the Chinese 3C certification. This model has the code 2206122SC and according to the certification statement, the phone will go to the market with the charger MDY-12-ED, which supports fast charging with a power of 120 W. It is therefore an interesting finding that these two versions of one model also differ in fast charging power.

In addition, the Xiaomi 12S Pro also features a curved OLED display with QHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its diagonal should be 6.55 inches. The tipsters also talk about a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh, a front 32 MPix camera and a triple main camera with a primary 50 MPix sensor. The operating system is, of course, Android 12 with the MIUI 13 extension. However, the manufacturer has not yet confirmed any of the parameters, so let's take them with a grain of salt.
