Vivo Y78T SE introduced with 120HZ display and decent specs

Vivo has quietly launched its latest Y78t smartphone in China. Let's take a look at the comprehensive specifications of this new model.

Thus, the Vivo Y78t boasts a 6.64-inch LCD panel that provides a crystal-clear Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels. It is distinguished from the competition by a great refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. On the right edge we see a conveniently located fingerprint sensor. The smartphone runs a fast Android 13 system with the unsurprising OriginOS 3.0 superstructure.

Also under the sleek exterior, the Y78t is powered by a powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset combined with fast LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. In order for the device to last with juice throughout the day, a very respectable 6,000mAh battery is available on board. It supports 44W fast charging. The Y78t meets a variety of needs thanks to three configurations. 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and a robust 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

Photography lovers will also be pleased with the 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. And on the back is a 50-megapixel primary camera, plus a 2-megapixel lens with bokeh effect. And of course the LED flash for perfect pictures in any situation. The device offers a number of basic features, including support for two SIM cards, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port and a prized 3.5mm audio jack. It's also worth noting that the Y78t is essentially a rebranded version of the iQOO Z8x. It quietly debuted in China in August.

And what about the price you ask? Thus, the highest variant of the Y78t with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage has an attractive price of 1,499 yuan (about 205 USD) ( LKR 81,499). Those interested can purchase this attractive smartphone from October 22. There are colors to choose from that include black, white and green. While its launch in other global markets remains in the stars, Chinese customers can rush to order the Vivo Y78t as early as Monday.
