The Xiaomi 13T series phones have been talked about for quite some time, with their global launch being prepared. It is true that tipsters estimated that the presentation would take place at the beginning of this month, but in the end the manufacturer confirmed the date until September 26. So hooray, the phones actually debuted in Berlin yesterday and we're going to take a step-by-step look at their specs today. And we will start with the first of them, the Xiaomi 13T.
We probably won't be surprised, also because tipsters have already announced that the phones of the Xiaomi 13T series are based on the Chinese model Redmi K60 Ultra. This model is exclusive to the Chinese market, but it will also look at global markets in its own way. Not only in terms of specifications, but also in terms of design, both global Xiaomi 13T models are based on it. The appearance of the standard model is "boxy" with rounded corners. The frames around the display are narrow, including the chin. In the center of the top of the screen is a “hole” for the front camera. The main camera module is square, located in the upper left corner of the back and rises slightly above their level.
The AMOLED display of the Xiaomi 13T phone has a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen also supports 480Hz sampling rate, up to 2600 nits brightness, 2880Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The processor has a Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset with a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. The processor is paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6 (2.4/5 GHz), 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, GPS (L1/L5), GLONASS, QZSS (L1/L5), NFC and USB- C. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display. The manufacturer has added dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio, an IR blaster and IP68 certification. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 67 W. The operating system is Android 13 with the MIUI 14 superstructure. The phone has a promised longer software support.
The main camera of the Xiaomi 13T is triple. The Sony IMX707 primary sensor has a resolution of 50 MPix, a size of 1/1.28 inches and OIS support. The second, 50 MPix sensor Omnivision OV50D, works as a telephoto lens with 2x zoom, and the third 12 MPix sensor Omnivision OV13B10 is wide-angle with a focal length of 15 mm. The optics and camera functions were provided by Leica. The front camera received a 20 MPix Sony IMX596 sensor.
Xiaomi 13T is coming to European markets in Meadow Green, Black and Alpine Blue. The first two variants have a glass back panel, the third variant has a back covered in vegan leather. The price for the version with 8 GB/256 GB is set at 649 euros.
