The Redmi brand is preparing for an introduction. It will take place on September 21st in China and those waiting for the next generation of Redmi Note phones will surely know that the Note 13 series is in sight. The manufacturer confirmed last week that it will introduce these phones in China. We will see at least three models, namely Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro Plus. The new phones will thus replace last year's Note 12 models on the market .

At the same time as confirming the date of the introduction, the manufacturer also published another trailer, which announced a change in the design of the Note Pro Plus model. It must be said that the appearance is very attractive and really indicates that this model is the highest of the range. However, the Redmi Note 13 Pro model will not be thrown away either. He too will receive several improvements. And the main thing, according to another new trailer, is the Snapdragon 7s Gen2 processor.

It is built on a 4nm manufacturing process and has eight cores divided into two clusters. The first four cores have a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz and the second four cores are clocked at 1.95 GHz. Adreno GPU has not yet been specified by Qualcomm. And how did this chipset perform when benchmarked in the Note 13 Pro?

The Note 13 Pro model has the codename 2312CRAD3C in the Geekbench tests. In the listing, we see that the performance is roughly on par with the Snapdragon 7 Gen1, but not far behind the performance of the Dimensity 7200 processor that powers the Note 13 Pro Plus. For a better illustration, let's compare both results. The Redmi Note 13 Pro with the Snapdragon 7s Gen2 scored 1012 and 2943 points, and the Dimensity 7200 chipset scored 1122 and 2636 points. And let's add that the Snapdragon 7s Gen2 is paired with 16 GB of operating memory and the Android 13 system during the tests. Of course, it should be taken into account that these are benchmark tests and the real performance will only be shown by regular use of the Note 13 Pro phone.
