Sri Lanka is at risk of rising Smartphone Prices

At present the Sri Lanka Rupee is depreciating rapidly against US Dollar. For this reason , the relevant companies have increased the prices of smartphones on several previous occasions. We got know that smartphone companies are preparing to revise their prices due to the further depreciation of the Sri Lanka Rupee.  

Accordingly , Xiaomi Sri Lanka company recently announced its updated price list. The prices of entry level phones has increased by LKR 2,000 and the prices of other phones have also increased as follows

Other smartphone companies will also increase their phone prices in the future. This problem has a direct impact not only on smartphones but also on the sale of other electronic devices. Accordingly the prices of electronic devices in the Sri Lankan market have also increased abnormally.
