Moto G84 – mid-range with a good price

Motorola has been making quite a splash in the mid-range lately. At the beginning of last month, it introduced the very cheap Moto G14 phone , and a few days ago it confirmed that it will launch the G54 model in China on September 5th . But she added in one breath that the Moto G84 model will reach the global markets before it. That's exactly what happened and the phone made its debut in the Indian market. So let's take a look at what it has to offer.

MOTO G84 PHONE SPECIFICATIONS

The new Moto G84 model has a design that does not deviate from the appearance of the mid-range phones of this brand. However, the manufacturer sends it to the market in three attractive colors Marshmallow Blue, Midnight Blue and Viva Magenta. And now we'll go straight to the specifications. The phone's display is a pOLED type with a 6.55-inch diagonal, a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The sampling frequency reached 360 Hz and the brightness up to 1300 nits.

Given that it is a relatively cheap mid-range phone, it is probably not surprising that it is powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor. It is a little older, but manufacturers still like it and often use it in phones like the Moto G84. Only one memory configuration completes the chipset, namely the one with 13 GB of operating memory and 256 GB of internal storage. This can be further expanded up to 1 TB.

Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, USB-C, NFC and 3.5 mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display and the manufacturer also added stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual microphones. There is even resistance according to IP54 certification. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 30 W. The operating system is Android 13 with the My UX superstructure.

PHOTO EQUIPMENT, PRICE AND AVAILABILITY 

In the photo equipment of the Moto G84, we find exactly what can be expected from a mid-range model. The main camera is dual with a primary sensor with a resolution of 50 MPix, an aperture of f/1.8 and support for PDAF and OIS. It was supplemented by an 8 MPix wide-angle lens with a field of view of 118°. The front camera has a 16 MPix sensor. And finally, we will add the price, which is set at 19999 Indian rupees on the Flipkart website , which is roughly 242 dollars. Sales begin on September 8.
