The Huawei Mate 60 is also powered by a Kirin processor

Huawei introduced the Mate 60 Pro phone in China two days ago . It has published all its parameters on its website, except for the type of processor that powers the phone. But the next day, new information appeared on the network, which revealed that the Kirin 9000s is the chipset. In the midst of these reports, the Huawei Mate 60 model, which the manufacturer presented together with the Pro model, was somewhat forgotten. Now that we have all the specs of the standard Mate 60 together, let's take a look at those as well.

HUAWEI MATE 60 SPECIFICATIONS

The design of the Huawei Mate 60 is basically the same as the Pro model. Perhaps instead of a triple "hole" in the upper part of the display, there is only one "hole". Also, the parameters are almost the same, but there are a few downgrades compared to the Pro version. These include, first of all, the already mentioned single "hole" for the front camera, which has a resolution of 13 MPix and is a wide-angle lens.

The display of the Huawei Mate 60 phone is of the LTPO OLED type with a diagonal of 6.69 inches, a resolution of 2668 × 1216 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 1 Hz to 120 Hz. Also like the Pro model, the screen supports 10-bit colors and 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Protection was provided by second generation Kulun glass.

Even for the Huawei Mate 60 model, the manufacturer did not confirm the type of chipset. But it is most likely the same processor as the Pro version, i.e. Kirin 9000s. The manufacturer added only one memory configuration to it, namely 12 GB of operating memory and 512 GB of internal storage. The operating system is, as usual, Harmony OS 4.0. The battery has a capacity of 4780 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 66 W. Here, too, we find support for satellite connectivity, but only through the Chinese BeiDou positioning system.

Finally, we will mention the parameters of the main camera. As with the Pro model, it lies in a large circular module and here again we find three sensors and an LED flash. However, the Mate 60 phone has a lower telephoto lens resolution, namely 12 MPix. The primary sensor then has 50 MPix, variable aperture and OIS support. The trio was completed by a 12 MPix wide-angle lens. The Mate 60 goes to the Chinese market in the same colors as the Pro version and the price is set at 5999 yuan ($823). So it is 100 yuan cheaper than the same memory configuration of the Pro model. Pre-orders are now open on Vmall , with sales starting on September 17th.
