Oppo A38 – specifications, renders and estimated prices

The Oppo company has quite a rich portfolio, in which the basis is premium phones with powerful fast charging. However, we can also find cheaper basic and mid-range phones here. The latest mid-range phones introduced include, for example, the Oppo A78 4G model , which debuted around the middle of last month. Now, according to tipsters, the affordable Oppo A38 model is also about to hit the market. Given that it has TDRA, SIRIM, NBTC and GCF certifications, it is clear that it will be a global launch. WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE OPPO A38 SO FAR

The upcoming Oppo A38 phone has a 6.56-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1612 × 720 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and support for up to 16.7 million colors. There are quite wide frames around the screen, including the chin. Above the display is a small teardrop notch for the front camera.

On the processor post, we find a chipset from MediaTek's workshops, the Helio G80. To it, the manufacturer added 4 GB of operating memory and 128 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded. The battery of the Oppo A38 model has a decent capacity of 5000 mAh, but the tipsters do not mention the charging performance. The fingerprint sensor is located on the edge of the device, and there is also a slot for a microSD card, resistance according to IP54 certification and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Connectivity is represented by Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, QZSS, AGPS, GLONASS, GPS, Beidou and Galileo.

The main camera is dual and lies in a vertical oval module in the upper left corner of the rear panel. It consists of a primary 50 MPix sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and a 2 MPix secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. For the second sensor, it is not yet clear whether it serves as a macro lens or for capturing depth of field. The front camera has a modest 5 MPix. Oppo A38 will go to the European market with a price of 159 euros in gold and black. The presentation will take place next month.
