Nokia changes its logo

Nokia, the Finnish telecommunications equipment company, has announced a major strategy shift as it looks to accelerate its growth in the industry. Following the completion of the initial "reset" phase of its three-part plan, new CEO Pekka Lundmark is now focused on accelerating the company's development and scaling its operations. To signal this change, Nokia has decided to change its logo for the first time in 60 years, ditching the traditional blue color in favor of a more flexible approach that allows for different colors to be used depending on the situation.

Lundmark has made it clear that Nokia is no longer just a smartphone company, but a "business technology company". In addition to expanding its core telecom equipment business, Nokia is looking to broaden its reach by focusing on selling gear to other businesses. This includes offering private 5G networks and equipment for automated factories, which would put Nokia in direct competition with tech giants like Microsoft and Amazon.

Lundmark has also hinted that Nokia is exploring other areas for potential growth and development. By diversifying its portfolio, Nokia hopes to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving telecommunications industry and establish itself as a leading player in the space.
