Moto X40 with Snapdragon 8 Gen2 on Antutu

A few days ago, Qualcomm officially introduced the new Snapdragon 8 Gen2 flagship processor. And that means only one thing. Those smartphone manufacturers who have reserved this chipset for their flagship machines will try to lure us into buying them. Of course, a fight also broke out as to who would be the first to introduce such a phone. And let's see, there are quite a few hot candidates. This year, Motorola is also among them, which is preparing the Moto X40 phone.

HOW DID THE MOTO X40 MODEL FARE ON ANTUTU? 

The fact that the Moto X40 phone will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor was already announced by tipsters and confirmed by Tenaa certification. Well, now the head of Lenovo's mobile division, Mr. Chen Jin, confirmed the same to us. He published an Antutu test report on the Chinese network , where the upcoming phone scored decently. The overall score is a very solid 1,312,901 points, but synthetic performance tests are one thing and real-world performance is another.

Anyway, benchmark tests are quite suitable for comparing performance with other phones or chipsets. And as we already know, the main competition of Snapdragon 8 Gen2 is the flagship processor Dimensity 9200. Therefore, we will compare their performance. The chipset from the MediaTek workshops also scores very well in Antutu. But he got a slightly lower score, namely 1,266,102 points. So it can be said that both processors have comparable performance.

But let's go back to the Moto X40 phone. According to what Tenaa published, it will also receive other interesting parameters that will give it the stamp of a premium device. The display is an OLED type with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and an integrated fingerprint sensor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor complements 8/12/18 GB of operating memory and 128/256/512 GB of internal storage. We do not know the exact battery capacity, but it should be around 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 68 W. The photo equipment includes the main camera with two 50 MP sensors and one sensor with a resolution of 12 MP. The launch of the Moto X40 model in China is said to happen soon, but the phone will look at global markets later.
