Motorola unveil Razr 2022 and Edge X30 Pro on August 2

Next month, especially its beginning, will be quite busy. Similar to July/July, several Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 flagship phones will be launched. Motorola is also among those manufacturers who are planning a showcase. It is true that they previously announced that they would launch their Razr 2022 and Edge X30 Pro phones with the Frontier designation in July, but they postponed their introduction. The tipsters reported this in connection with the Razr folding model and estimated that it will arrive in August/August or as late as September/September.

MOTOROLA MOVED THE PRESENTATION TO AUGUST 

It seems that the tipsters got their guesses right. Motorola has published a simple trailer on Chinese Weibo , in which it makes it clear that it is planning a presentation event in China on August 2nd, where it will present the folding model Razr 2022 as well as the flagship phone Moto Edge X30 Pro. For the second phone, we know that it will subsequently also reach global markets, where it will receive the trade name Moto Edge 30 Ultra. But the question remains whether the Razr 2022 will also look beyond its home country of China. However, the chance that Motorola will also introduce it globally is high.

Let's remind you that this year, Motorola improved the upcoming Razr 2022 folding phone quite a bit and turned it from a mid-range model into a premium machine. Which, after all, also suggests the use of a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. This is a stark contrast compared to previous generations powered by the “seven” Snapdragon. The phone also has a modified design and a 6.7-inch internal screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The external display, which has a diagonal of 3 inches, is also larger. The main camera is still dual with 50 MP and 13 MP sensors. The front camera has 32 MP.

Motorola Edge X30 Pro, i.e. the phone also known as Frontier, also belongs to high-end machines. In addition, it has a very decent photo equipment, which is dominated by the main camera with a 200 MP Samsung Isocell HP1 sensor. Furthermore, in the camera we can find a 50 MP wide-angle lens and a 12 MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom. The front camera has 60 MP. This phone also has a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 will complement up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and supports 125 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging.
