Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 on official renders

A lot of smartphone makers have scheduled their showcase for this month as they want to launch their phones with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor as quickly as possible. But Samsung is in no hurry. He is planning his Galaxy Unpacked presentation event until the beginning of next month. And in addition to the new generation of folding phones, it will also launch a series of Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 watches.

We will also focus on the upcoming watch today, even though we already know quite a bit about it. First of all, the manufacturer confirmed that it will release the Watch 5 Classic model this year and replace it with the Watch 5 Pro model. We also already know the main specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro. However, we know little about their design.

RENDERS CONFIRMED THE APPEARANCE OF THE SAMSUNG GALAXY WATCH 5 SERIES 

We can see what the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series looks like on apparently official renders published by 91Mobiles in collaboration with tipster Evan Blass. You could probably simply say that the watch has an uncomplicated design with a circular display and two buttons on the right edge. It is also confirmed that the rotating bezel is really missing in the higher models. But it was replaced by something that the manufacturer calls a "digital frame". And it's hard to say now what exactly we should imagine under that.

Tipster Blass further claims that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 model is codenamed "Heart" and will come in two sizes, namely 40mm and 44mm. At the same time, it will be available in more color variants than the Watch 5 Pro model. Samsung is said to have prepared two versions, specifically with LTE support and/or Bluetooth support. The operating system is Wear OS 3.5 with One UI Watch 4.5 superstructure.

On the contrary, the Pro model will offer only one size, namely 45 mm, and only black and graphite color variants. On the other hand, we will see sapphire glass on the display and a titanium structure. Even in this case, versions with LTE and/or Bluetooth are on the market, and the operating system is the same as the standard model. According to the renders, the Watch 5 Pro appears to be slightly thicker than the standard model, but that could be because it has a bigger battery. Its capacity is said to have reached 572 mAh. For both models, tipsters expect resistance up to 5ATM and also higher prices. The standard model will reportedly start at $300 and the Pro model at around $550. But we take this information with a grain of salt.
