Xiaomi 12S phones will be introduced on July 4

It's no secret, and probably no one missed the fact that Xiaomi is preparing further additions to this year's flagship series 12. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra and Xiaomi 12S phones have been talked about for quite a long time . All models will receive a premium Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor and very decent photo equipment, where Leica took care of the optics. However, to this day, we have not known when the manufacturer will introduce the Xiaomi 12S and the 12 Ultra.

XIAOMI 12S PHONES EXTENDED WITH THE ULTRA MODEL 

The tipsters basically only estimated that the Xiaomi 12S phones as well as the premium Ultra Xiaomi model will be introduced over the next month. But we just missed the exact date. Xiaomi has now confirmed that. The manufacturer's official account at Weibo already has the first trailer for the show, which will take place in China on July 4 / July at 7 p.m. local time.

And it should be noted that a small surprise awaits us. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be launched as part of the 12S series and will be renamed the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Therefore, three models will be introduced, namely 12S , 12S Pro and 12S Ultra. The manufacturer also confirmed the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor and Leica optics in the trailer. In addition, the Xiaomi 12S looks set to be the first models with Qualcomm's new premium processor. It was originally assumed that this would be the very first gaming machine Asus ROG Phone 6. But it will debut on July 5.

So we can summarize that all Xiaomi 12S phones are connected by Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 and Leica cameras. Of course, their other specifications differ, with the 12S having the lowest parameters, the Pro becoming the new standard for this year's flagship, and the 12S Ultra being what the manufacturer proudly calls the "Super Cup." Xiaomi does not provide details on the individual parameters of the upcoming phones yet, but in addition to very good photo equipment, we can also expect support for fast charging with a power of up to 120 W or even top displays with LTPO technology.
