Oppo is preparing a commercial use of 240 W charging
Fast charging constantly increases its performance. On the one hand, it is certainly nice when we do not have to wait several long hours to fully charge our phone, but on the other hand, there may be a risk of the phone overheating and the battery life may be reduced. But even these ailments are gradually being picked up by developers and they are trying to eliminate them completely. Oppo is one of the manufacturers still trying to exceed charging limits with its super-fast SuperVOOC charging.
Recall that this year, at the MWC trade fair in Barcelona, Spain, Oppo introduced a fast cable charging with a power of 150 W, which charges a 4500 mAh battery from 1% to 50% in just five minutes in "airplane" mode. In addition, they announced that they are planning an even faster charge, which will reach up to 240 W. And that's really something, because the battery is 50% charged in just 3 minutes and 29 seconds. But at the time of the fair, this charging was not yet ready for commercial use.

However, Oppo is not alone in the pursuit of extremely fast charging. The iQOO brand is also working on a similar charge and it seems that it can introduce it next month together with the iQOO 10 Pro phone , for which tipsters are announcing support for 200 W cable charging. Thanks to it, the battery is said to be 100% charged in just 12 minutes. However, even Oppo's 240 W charging is said to arrive in the near future
The well-known Digital Chat Station tipster reports on the Chinese network that an unnamed Chinese manufacturer has started trial production of a 24V / 10A charger capable of 240 W. The tipster does not explicitly state that this is Oppo's technology, but it is more than likely . No other manufacturer has announced that it is working on such a powerful charge.
