We have before us the introduction of the premium model Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which will probably arrive next month with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. In addition, the 12S and 12S Pro models, which will receive the same flagship processor, are in preparation.

So before we look at the launch of the new flagship phones, let's remember that the Xiaomi 12 series debuted on the Chinese market just before the end of last year. As a result, she failed to take the lead in using the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. That's what we know is Motorola, which introduced its flagship Moto Edge X30 on the Chinese market in early December.

However, this year the card could turn in favor of Xiaomi. The well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claims on Weibo that the Xiaomi 13 series phones will arrive this year earlier than last year. He specifically mentions November. He adds that there will be at least two phones and they will get the planned Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor. It is therefore likely that Qualcomm will introduce this new flag chipset at the same time as last year. So far, we know about the chipset that it has four clusters with 1/2/2/3 architecture, one Cortex-X3 core, two Cortex-A720 cores, two Cortex-A710 cores and three Cortex-A510 cores.

This processor will be seconded to Android 13 on the Xiaomi 13 series. Other rumors suggest that the upcoming Xiaomi models have the code designations 2211133C and 2210132C and the internal designations "Nuwa" and "Fuxi". It is also anticipated that Leica will take care of the phone's optics and that the main cameras will be triple. According to the guessers, there are also curved AMOLED displays with narrow frames and a central "hole" for the front camera.
