The first official press pictures of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Lite

At the very end of last year, Xiaomi served us a new line of Xiaomi 12 flagship models. For the time being, this consists of only a pair of available models, and we will have to wait a while for the next one. Of course, the top Xiaomi 12 Ultra with uncompromising equipment attracts the most attention, but it will probably show itself under a different name as MIX 5 . 12 Lite.

At first glance, it is clear that it belongs to the Xiaomi 12 series, because the design does not differ much from the basic model. The front is identical with rounded corners and a "shot" for the selfie camera on the display axis. It even looks like the Lite variant has a slightly smaller "chin" phone, but of course it can only be a sneer and a game with angles. In any case, the rear phone module with three photo-sensors and a flash is exactly the same. Paradoxically, the Xiaomi 12 Lite looks like a better premium model of the whole series than the real basic version. Of course, this is not true with the equipment, but you will definitely not be ashamed of your phone in terms of design.

Compared to the basic variant, it is also a slightly larger model. The original 6.28-diagonal will be replaced by a 6.55-inch and again it should be a FullHD + AMOLED panel with 120 Hz. Inside, we have to find the Snapdragon 778G +, so there will be no shortage of performance either. The camera with three sensors, including ultra-wide and macro lenses, will also be at a decent level. You will also enjoy details such as stereo speakers or a fingerprint reader integrated in the display. The Xiaomi 12 Lite is expected to hit the market sometime in March, probably in a global version.
