OPPO Find X5 can be significantly more expensive than last time
Only a few days separate us from the official presentation of the new flagship OPPO Find X5. So rather a whole series, because there should be three models available. And fan expectations are very high, especially after the disappointment that OnePlus 10 Pro prepared for us. The parent company is expected to have a really high-end piece without compromise and with great equipment. This has been revealed in the last few days, but apparently we will also have to reach very deep into our wallets. The news could be even more expensive than the models of the previous generation.
According to the ITHome server, the prices of new technologies and added functions are behind it all. Specifically, there is talk of a new camera stabilization system "suspended anti-shake". This should bring significant stabilization improvements for both photos and video. And it should be a very similar solution to the apple sensor-shift + OIS combination on the iPhone 13. The downside is the increase in costs, because according to behind-the-scenes estimates, the net price of anti-shake technology exceeds $ 50. Which, when projected in real terms, usually amounts to about twice or three times…
But that's just the tip of the iceberg, because prices will rise across the full range of components. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is more expensive than the previous generation, and we will also receive a fresh MariSilicon X NPU chip as a bonus. So again another substantial price increase. Experts expect the price of OPPO Find X5 to be about 1,000 yuan (about $ 150) higher than in the previous Find X3. And that's a big deal in financial estimates. Of course, the creators can still surprise, but personally I would be very surprised. So for fans time for a new mortgage or kidney sale.
