The Apple iPhone 14 is the most anticipated smartphone for 2022

A new study by Mozillion reveals which smartphone news people are most looking forward to, from the new Apple iPhone 14 to the latest Samsung Galaxy.

The survey revealed that the most anticipated smartphone of 2022 is the iPhone 14. The iPhone 14 series, which is likely to be launched in September 2022, as well as the iPhone 13 released in September 2021, has received more than 1 million global searches in the last year - more than double the next phone in the rankings (Samsung Galaxy S22 with 518,000 searches).

With millions of Apple smartphone users worldwide, it's no surprise that the Apple iPhone SE 3 came in third, with just over 285,000 worldwide searches last year. The iPhone SE 3 is an ideal alternative for those who may not want to wait for the new iPhone until the end of the year, with talk of its possible launch as early as March 2022.

The five most anticipated innovations end with the Chinese brands Vivo (model V23 received 195,700 worldwide searches) and Xiaomi (model Xiaomi 12 with 165,300 searches). Interestingly, the only folding phones in the top 20 are Oppo Find N and Pixel Fold from Google. Furthermore, the Finnish brand Nokia ranked ninth with the expected X50.
