Vivo Y20T, a mid-range phone comes to India

Vivo launched a new smartphone to expand its offering in the mid-range device segment. This is the Vivo Y20T, a slightly improved version of the vivo Y20 presenting last year .

The Vivo Y20T is a smartphone that brings the company's iconic Extended RAM 2.0 feature. This feature was introduced with the premium X60 series and has been showing up on a couple of devices since then. The vivo Y20T is almost identical to the vivo Y20, basically the difference is that the new model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 6 GB of RAM (+ 1 GB of extended RAM) and 64 GB of storage instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset as the previous model.

In addition to the processor and memory specifications mentioned above, the Vivo Y20T comes equipped with a 6.51-inch FullView HD + Halo display with a high aspect ratio. On the back, the phone includes a triple camera setup. made up of a 13 megapixel main camera that is joined by a 2 megapixel bokeh lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens . For taking selfies and video calls, there is an 8-megapixel camera housed in the water-drop shaped hole on the screen. Regarding connectivity, the phone supports dual SIM, 4G, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, GALILEO), 3.5mm headphone jack and MicroUSB port.

To stay on, it takes power from a 5000mAh battery with support for 18-watt fast charging. The company has claimed that the Vivo Y20T, which uses AI, can last 20 hours while streaming HD videos and 8 hours of resource-intensive gaming on a full charge. The phone also supports reverse charging, so you can quickly charge an accessory when needed. Additionally, the Vivo Y20T runs on custom Android 11 with the Funtouch OS 11.1 user interface.

The vivo Y20T is priced at Rs 15,490, around 178 euros, in India. It is already on sale in the country through Vivo India E-Store, Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm and major offline retailers.
