Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Edition Launch Date and Design Revealed

The Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Edition is officially on its way, and Honor has now confirmed the launch date while revealing the phone’s striking new design. The ultra-premium flagship will make its debut in China on January 19, launching alongside the Honor Magic8 Pro Air. Along with the announcement, Honor has released official renders and a teaser video showcasing the device from every angle.

Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Edition: A Fresh Porsche-Inspired Design

Unlike its predecessor, the Magic7 RSR Porsche Edition, the new Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Edition abandons the familiar hexagonal camera module. Instead, it introduces a redesigned rear camera layout that gives the phone a more refined and aggressive flagship look.

Honor will offer the device in two premium finishes: Moonlight Stone and Slate Grey, both reflecting Porsche Design’s minimalist luxury aesthetic.

Display and Performance Upgrades

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Edition will feature a 6.71-inch LTPO display with a sharp 1.5K resolution. The panel is expected to support adaptive refresh rates for smoother scrolling and better battery efficiency.

At its core, the phone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, positioning it among the most powerful Android smartphones of 2026.
