The Honor brand recently launched its flagship models, the Honor Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro, both powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. However, fans may have noticed the absence of a “Lite” version, which is rumored to be in the works. The upcoming Honor Magic 7 Lite was recently spotted in the Google Play Console and Google Play database, confirming its existence.

A Rebranded Model for Global Markets?

According to the MySmartPrice website, the Google database identifies the Honor Magic 7 Lite with the code designation HNBRP-Q1. Interestingly, this is the same code linked to the Honor X9c, which launched recently in Malaysia and Singapore. This suggests that the Magic 7 Lite could be a rebranded X9c, tailored for other international markets.

Honor Magic 7 Lite: Expected Specifications

The Google listing provides some key specs for the Honor Magic 7 Lite, indicating it will feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen1 processor with an Adreno 619 GPU and a generous 12 GB of RAM. Although the internal storage isn’t specified, the Magic 7 Lite is expected to perform smoothly with this hardware combination.

Display and Battery

The Honor Magic 7 Lite will reportedly sport a 2700 x 1224 pixel resolution display with an impressive 520 ppi density. If it’s indeed a rebranded model, users can anticipate a 6.78-inch OLED display, ideal for multimedia experiences. Battery capacity is expected to be a solid 6600 mAh with 66W fast charging support, providing reliable usage throughout the day.

Possibility of Partial Modifications

While the Magic 7 Lite may closely follow the X9c’s specs, Honor could make minor adjustments as part of its rebranding for different markets. These potential tweaks would enhance its compatibility with regional preferences and keep it aligned with the Honor Magic 7 series aesthetic and performance.
