Xiaomi 15 Pro is here with Snapdragon 8 Elite

In the previous article, we took a detailed look at the new flagship phone Xiaomi 15 . And it probably won't surprise anyone that the Xiaomi 15 Pro model goes on the market together with it. It also belongs to the premium devices with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Compared to its predecessor, the phone has a brighter display, a large battery and a redesigned camera. And now for a detailed overview of the specifications.

Summary of Xiaomi 15 Pro parameters

We don't have to deal with the design of the Xiaomi 15 Pro phone, because we know it from the official rendered images. Therefore, we will move directly to the display parameters. The screen is the same as the standard LTPO OLED model, but its diagonal has grown to 6.73 inches. The display resolution is 3100 × 1440 pixels, the refresh rate is dynamic from 1 Hz to 120 Hz. There is support for brightness up to 3200 nits, HDR10+ and 1920 Hz PWM dimming. The display is protected by Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0 and there is an integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The chipset is paired with 12GB/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB and 1TB of internal storage. Connectivity is the same as the standard model. Likewise, there are stereo speakers and resistance according to IP68 certification. If the standard model has a large battery, the battery capacity of the Xiaomi 15 Pro is really huge. It has grown to 6100mAh and is a lithium-cobalt silicon-carbon nanotube construction battery that offers an energy density of 850Wh/L and 80% capacity after 1600 cycles. It supports 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, with Xiaomi Surge P3 and G1 chips improving charging efficiency and battery life. The operating system is Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0.

Photo equipment, prices and availability

As with the standard model, the Pro features a triple main camera with Leica optics. All three have a resolution of 50 MPix. The primary sensor Light Fusion 900 has a size of 1/1.3 inches, an aperture of f/1.44 and OIS support. The second sensor works as a wide-angle lens with a focal length of 14 mm, a field of view of 115° and an aperture of f/2.2. The third sensor is a Sony IMX858 periscopic telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, 10x lossless zoom, f/2.5 aperture, OIS support. It will also be used for macro photography. The front camera has 32 MPix and is the same as the standard model.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro is coming to the Chinese market in Grey, White, Spruce Green and the premium Rock Silver color with 3D water wave effect. Pre-orders are running on the manufacturer's website , sales start on October 31. The prices of individual memory versions are as follows:

• 12GB/256GB - 5299 Yuan ($742)
• 16GB/512GB - 5799 yuan ($813)
• 16GB/1TB - 6499 yuan ($911)
