Samsung has marked this holiday season with the release of its latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, boasting an even thinner profile. Samsung’s premium foldable lineup also extends to the Chinese market under the exclusive W-series with the Samsung W25 and W25 Flip, based on the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and Galaxy Z Flip 6 models respectively. This specialized W-series is designed to appeal to the Chinese market, bringing enhanced aesthetics and specs to a luxury-oriented audience.
According to the renders shared by innoGyan, the Samsung W25 and W25 Flip phones radiate sophistication, featuring a matte black finish with striking gold accents. Each phone package includes premium accessories like a charger and a protective case, emphasizing its high-end market placement. These models present a luxurious twist on Samsung’s foldable phones, with the Samsung W25 based on the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and the W25 Flip on the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The Samsung W25 takes inspiration from the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, available only in South Korea. It features a larger external display at 6.5 inches and a spacious 8-inch internal display, although it lacks S Pen support. The phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, ensuring top-tier performance for users. Impressively, the Samsung W25 houses a 200 MP primary camera sensor, surpassing the 50 MP sensor in the Galaxy Z Fold 6, making it a powerful choice for photography enthusiasts.
In terms of dimensions, the W25 is sleek with a thickness of 10.6 mm when folded and 4.9 mm when open, weighing 236 grams. This makes it 1.5 mm thinner and 3 grams lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, giving it a refined, slim profile that complements its luxurious aesthetic.
The Samsung W25 Flip mirrors the design and specs of the Galaxy Z Flip 6, adopting the clamshell form factor. Like the W25, it maintains the exclusive black and gold design, adding an elevated touch of luxury for Chinese consumers. Though its specifications remain closely aligned with the Galaxy Z Flip 6, it shares the same premium build quality and aesthetic appeal.
Alongside the W-series, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a distinguished addition to Samsung’s foldable lineup. Available exclusively in select markets, it brings the innovation of foldable tech with enhanced build quality and design refinements, meeting the expectations of tech enthusiasts and premium users alike.
With these offerings, Samsung continues to lead in foldable technology, delivering models that cater to specific markets with unique features and designs. Stay tuned as Samsung continues to evolve its foldable range with new technologies and exclusive designs.
