Xiaomi is gearing up to release its new tablet models, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro. The tablets reportedly received Chinese 3C certification and Singapore's IMDA certification earlier this year, fueling speculation about their premium specifications and notable upgrades.

Rumored Specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Series

According to the latest rumors circulating on Chinese social media platform Weibo, both the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are expected to feature an 11.16-inch LCD display with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. This conflicts with earlier reports that suggested the tablets would come equipped with OLED displays, indicating that some specifications may still be subject to change.

Processor and Performance

Initial leaks suggested that the standard Xiaomi Pad 7 would sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, while the Pro model would utilize a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor. However, newer information indicates that the Pad 7 might instead be powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen3, while the Pad 7 Pro could come with a Snapdragon 8s Gen3 chipset. This change aims to balance performance and affordability for both models.

Battery and Charging Capabilities

The 3C certification confirmed the tablets' charging power, with the standard Pad 7 supporting 45W charging and the Pad 7 Pro offering faster 67W charging. Both devices are expected to be equipped with a large 10000mAh battery to ensure long-lasting use. Additionally, the tablets are said to run on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, promising a smooth and feature-rich user experience.

Launch Expectations

Although Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm the launch date for the Pad 7 series, tipsters anticipate that the tablets could be unveiled alongside the upcoming Xiaomi 15 flagship phones later this month.
