Samsung appears to be gearing up for the launch of another smartphone in its popular M series. The support page for the Samsung Galaxy M55s is now live in India, hinting at an imminent release. This device is expected to be an upgraded version of the Galaxy M55, which debuted in April. Below, we break down everything we know so far.

The support page officially confirms the name Galaxy M55s and verifies the presence of 8GB of RAM. While no other details are revealed, we anticipate that there may be multiple RAM variants available at launch.
Unfortunately, the page doesn't provide any further specifications, but other certification listings have given us more insight into what we can expect.
Samsung Galaxy M55s on Other Certification Websites
This isn't the first time the Samsung Galaxy M55s has made an appearance. The device, under model number SM-M558B/DS, was previously spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site, although no detailed specifications were provided.
Moreover, the same model number has been seen on the Geekbench database, revealing that the Galaxy M55s will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, featuring a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz and paired with an Adreno 644 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The Geekbench listing also confirms that the device will run Android 14 out of the box, customized with Samsung’s One UI 6.1.
Additionally, the Galaxy M55s has appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification, confirming support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. As the official launch date nears, more details are expected to surface.
