OPPO to make phones with artificial intelligence (AI) available

OPPO unveiled its vision to make artificial intelligence (AI) phones accessible, pointing to a future comprehensive technological revolution and restructuring of the AI ​​phone ecosystem. In addition, OPPO also shared with industry partners Google, MediaTek and IDC a glimpse of the smarter and more convenient life that AI phones should bring.

The company opens the door to artificial intelligence technologies for all OPPO phone users and brings generative AI to all product lines of its phones. In addition to developing its own AI, OPPO will work with Google, MediaTek, Microsoft and other partners to provide their AI-enabled services.

OPPO IS COMMITTED TO MAKING AI PHONES ACCESSIBLE BY INTRODUCING GENERATIVE AI TO ALL OF ITS PRODUCT LINES

Due to their large global reach, smartphones are well positioned as the most important personal AI device. Despite the ubiquity of smartphones, however, OPPO believes that AI should not remain the prerogative of the most expensive flagship phones and select users. In cooperation with Google, the OPPO models of the Reno12 series and the new generation of the Find X flagship will be equipped with the LLM of the Google Gemini family. Both OPPO and Google are developing new processors in cooperation with MediaTek. So as to increase the chip storage and computing efficiency of future OPPO flagship models.
