Last week, the brand Vivo presented new premium phones of the X100 series . The new machines attracted a lot of attention, so the launch of the next product kind of disappeared. The fact that the Vivo Watch 3 smart watch will debut together with the phones was announced by the manufacturer rather subtly, and in fact the promo campaign was quite bland compared to the promos for the phones. But it's definitely worth taking a closer look at the new watch, because it's Vivo's new chronometer after a long time.
In the list of specifications of the Vivo Watch 3, we will start with what is probably the most important. This is Vivo's brand new BlueOS operating system. The system is based on the Rust programming language, thanks to which the new chronometer has a lot of new interesting features. Well, at least compared to the previous Watch 2 model from 2021.
The appearance of the watch is simple and both design versions have a circular display, a rotating crown for easier navigation and a curved glass. The watch strap is either silicone or leather, and the Vivo Watch 3 is only available in one size. The display as such is of the AMOLED type with a diagonal of 1.43 inches, a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and AOD support. There is 64 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage, as well as a speaker and microphone for phone calls. The watch is water resistant up to 5ATM. The Vivo Watch 3 battery has a capacity of 505 mAh. The manufacturer promises a battery life of up to 7 days when using eSIM and up to 16 days with Bluetooth.
Now let's dive into the features of the Vivo Watch 3 made possible by its own BlueOS operating system. The first and simplest one is the 10 built-in watch faces. It also supports apps and the BlueOS app store. For example, there's the Jovi voice assistant and an extensive list of health and fitness tracking features. For all of them, let's name the monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygenation, sleep, stress and menstrual cycle. The watch can also detect high noise levels and there are more than a hundred sports modes with customized exercise plans.
Vivo Watch 3 comes in eSIM or Bluetooth version and four colors namely Black, Moonlight White, Starlight and Bright Moon. Pre-orders in the Chinese market are already running, with sales starting on November 21st. The prices of the individual versions are as follows:
