Asus Zenfone 10 is a compact flagship

Everyone who likes compact phones probably knows that they can find just such machines in the Asus portfolio. Yes, we are talking about the numbered Zenfone product line, in which the manufacturer releases just such phones every year. After last year's compact model Zenfone 9, the Asus Zenfone 10 phone is now arriving exactly as planned. It is a small phone with great performance, and the good news is certainly that it is also going on sale in the European market.

ASUS ZENFONE 10 PHONE DESIGN AND DISPLAY

The appearance of the Asus Zenfone 10 phone has not changed compared to last year's model. The design is again simple and perhaps the only dominant element is the main camera module with two prominent sensor rings. The frames around the display are relatively narrow and symmetrical, the "hole" for the front camera is located in the upper left corner of the screen. The volume rocker and the power button can then be found on the right edge.

The size and resolution of the AMOLED display have also not changed since last year. The screen of the Asus Zenfone 10 again has a diagonal of 5.9 inches and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. But the refresh rate increased to 144 Hz. The display supports brightness up to 1100 nits, HDR10+, 112% DCI-P3 color gamut and 151.9% sRGB. The aspect ratio is 20:9 and protection is provided by Gorilla Glass Victus.

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

If we talked about the Asus Zenfone 10 in the beginning as a small phone with great performance, it is mainly because of the processor used. This is the Snapdragon 8 Gen2, to which the manufacturer added 8 GB and 16 GB of operating memory and 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB of internal storage. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11be 7, Bluetooth 5.3, support for GNSS GPS (L1/L5), Glonass (L1), Galileo (E1/E5a), BeiDou (B1/B2a), QZSS (L1/L5), NavIC(L5), USB-C, NFC and 3.5 mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is located on the edge of the device. The manufacturer added stereo speakers, Dirac Virtuo technology for surround sound headphones, two microphones with OZO Audio Noise Reduction technology and IP68 certified resistance.

The battery has a capacity of 4300 mAh, which is not a lot these days, but it is still a small phone. However, charging is fast. The wired one has a power of 30 W and the wireless one 15 W. The operating system is Android 13 with the Asus ZenUI superstructure. Of course, we will not forget the photo equipment of the Asus Zenfone 10. The front camera has a 32 MPix sensor with RGBW technology and the main camera is dual. It consists of a Sony IMX766 primary sensor with a resolution of 50 MPix, an aperture of f/1.9, a six-axis gimbal 2.0, OIS, EIS and PDAF. The second 13 MPix sensor works as a wide-angle lens with dual PDAF.

PRICES AND AVAILABILITY Asus Zenfone 10 comes in Midnight Black, Aurora Green, Eclipse Red, White and Stary Blue colors. It is already on sale in Europe and will subsequently go on sale in the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. European prices are as follows:

• 8 GB/256 GB - 849 euros 
• 16 GB/512 GB - 929 euros
