Huawei introduces the very first navigation application without the need to connect to a smartphone. It is available exclusively for Huawei smart watches from the latest Watch 4 series. The application has several intelligent functions that will be appreciated, for example, by lovers of running in unknown places or cyclists heading for a trip. Thanks to it, you can be navigated from one place to another using only the watch, by simply raising your wrist.
Runners, cyclists, tourists, but also skaters or cross-country skiers will greatly appreciate the new version of Petal Maps Watch Edition, which works independently in the watch and does not need to be connected to the phone. Forget about tedious steps from unlocking your phone, starting navigation to entering your destination. Just gently lift your hand to display this navigation and it will start immediately.
INTELLIGENT NAVIGATION AND REAL-TIME DATA UPDATES
Navigation services in the latest watches work very simply and intelligently. They include all important functions such as destination search, route planning, navigation on foot or by bike, voice guidance or vibration reminders. The watch vibrates whenever you approach an intersection or a turn, alerting the user to a change of direction, so you'll never forget to rest again. Voice guidance will be useful, for example, when riding a bicycle. Petal Maps Watch Edition also provides navigation for nearby locations such as bus stops, cafes and restaurants. They also help you find grocery stores.
In everyday use, the new version of Petal Maps can recommend the best route for walking or cycling, thanks to Huawei's intelligent evaluation and route planning algorithm. It helps users travel more efficiently and enrich their sports experience by designing new routes. Map data is updated in real time, which prevents unpredictable circumstances and delays on the planned route, for example due to road construction or traffic jams. The maps also have a speed calculation function that allows users to determine the distance to the destination.
COMPLETE NAVIGATION ON THE DIAL
The new version of Petal Maps for smartwatches displays a complete navigation map on the watch face. So not just text navigation like other maps in other smart watches. This function is further improved thanks to HarmonyOS, from which it borrowed a friendly design, a simple and design-impressive interface and an ergonomic layout of individual elements.
The watch from the Watch 4 series, on which the new version of Petal Maps can be launched, was introduced by Huawei to the Czech market only recently. The more equipped Watch 4 Pro model boasts a body made of aviation titanium, which gives the watch a touch of luxury and longevity. The display of the watch is protected by a sapphire crystal that is resistant to scratches and provides an elegant look. Smart sports and health functions were also not forgotten, including ECG monitoring, sleep, blood oxygenation and others. Technological innovations, high-quality materials and design elements make the Watch 4 series an exceptional product not only in terms of functions and battery life.
