Redmi K60 Ultra brings 120W fast charging and other improvements
Xiaomi is about to introduce the Redmi K60 Ultra. This version is a complement to the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro smartphones available in China, but to deserve the title "Ultra" it should bring several improvements. Even though the official launch date of the phone is not known, the brand is actively working on its preparation. Today, the alleged Redmi K60 Ultra passed the 3C certification in China. It confirms some details of the phone, as well as the 120W fast charging standard. This is one of the fastest charging speeds from Xiaomi.
REDMI K60 ULTRA SPOTTED DURING 3C CERTIFICATION
Redmi K60 Ultra has been registered with model number 23078RJD5C. Confirms support for 120W fast charging with the Xiaomi MDY-14-ED charger. The same charger is also present on the Redmi K60 Pro. So there isn't really an upgrade to the charging standard. However, thanks to 120W charging, the Ultra will be among the fastest among Xiaomi phones. The brand also offers 210W charging, but apart from the Redmi Note 12 Explorer, no other device has been equipped with such a charging speed.
According to leaks, the smartphone dubbed K60 Ultra is expected to launch as Xiaomi 13T Pro outside of China. However, there is no prediction regarding the launch of this phone outside of China. Of course, if there is a Xiaomi 13T Pro, we can also expect a “non-Pro” variant to complete the series. The phone will come with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The phone will feature a triple camera. The camera setup will bring two large lenses, probably one main and ultrawide lens, and a smaller 2MP macro lens.
As part of performance, the Ultra received a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset . This chipset uses a 4nm manufacturing process and has an ARM Cortex-X3 core up to 3.05GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A715 cores up to 2.85GHz and 4 ARM Cortex-A510 cores up to 1.8GHz. GPU is Immortalis-G715. We expect more details about the K60 Ultra to emerge soon.
