Redmi Note 12R shows off its specifications
Redmi's Note series has very quickly gained popularity not only in China but also in global markets. These are phones with a well-balanced price/performance ratio, and that's exactly what fans like. The models of the Redmi Note 12 series debuted on the Chinese market last fall, and since the spring of this year they have also been sold on the Czech market. This spring also saw the release of the Note 12R Pro , and now the Redmi Note 12R is slowly making its way to the Chinese market.
Recall that the Note 12R Pro model is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen1 processor. However, according to the specifications that appeared on the Chinese network , it seems that the upcoming Redmi Note 12R phone will be a little better after all. It is not very common for the Pro model to have slightly lower parameters than the standard model, but why not. So let's see what Redmi has in store for us.
MAIN SPECIFICATIONS OF THE REDMI NOTE 12R PHONE
Let's start with the design of the Redmi Note 12R, which is basically the same as the other models in the range. We really only see a small change in the appearance of the main camera module. There are slightly wider frames and a chin around the display, and in the center of its upper part there is a "hole" for the front camera. The main camera is dual and the fingerprint sensor is located on the edge.
Probably the most interesting thing about the Redmi Note 12R phone is the processor. It has the designation SM4450 and is probably a Snapdragon 4 Gen2 processor. But Qualcomm hasn't introduced this chipset yet, so it's possible that the Note 12R model will be one of the first to get it. Compared to the Snapdragon 4 Gen1 processor, the Gen2 version is built on Samsung's 4nm manufacturing technology. Its predecessor is built on TSMC's 6nm production technology. So here it is a shift for the better. The processor will complement 4/6/8 GB of operating memory and 128/256 GB of internal storage. The operating system is Android 13 with MIUI 14 superstructure.
The display has a diagonal of 6.79 inches and a FullHD+ resolution, which means that the screen is larger than that of the Note 12R Pro model. The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and is said to support 22.5W charging. Well, the main camera consists of 50 MP and 2 MP sensors. The Redmi Note 12R will go on sale on June 30 in Midnight Black, Sky Fantasy and Time Blue colors. Its prices should be as follows:
- 4GB/128GB - 1099 yuan ($153)
- 6GB/128GB - 1199 yuan ($167)
- 8GB/128GB - 1599 Yuan ($223)
- 8GB/256GB - 1799 yuan ($251)
