DxOMark awarded HONOR Magic5 Lite as the best choice of customers and high endurance and overall performance.
The new HONOR Magic5 Lite received a light, strong and compact battery, which passed 4 demanding tests by DxOMark with distinction. It had to withstand both the simulation of normal use and field use. There was a calibration and charging test. The results confirmed that the HONOR Magic5 Lite battery can last more than 3 days of moderate usage. In addition, they showed its extraordinary charging efficiency. This makes the HONOR Magic5 Lite the ideal choice for anyone looking for a device that maintains maximum performance for as long as possible.
The basis for the battery to have maximum durability is the newly developed, high-strength and light aluminum alloy for the plates of the middle frame. This component has undergone tens of thousands of tests, including bend, drop, strength, impact and stress tests. The weight of the central frames was thus reduced by 4 grams and there was a 15% thinning. This makes the mobile phone lighter, stronger and more compact.

In addition, Magic5 Lite's battery with unrivaled energy density is 3% thinner than conventional batteries. The high-density PCB layout increases its overall usability by 5%. At the same time, the battery layout has been optimized to maximize space and reduce thickness. In this way, it was possible to fit a large 5100mAh battery into a small and thin device.

“The HONOR Magic5 Lite's battery performed remarkably well during our battery life tests, lasting 74 hours with moderate use. In addition, the discharge current of the device was very low in all use cases, which is a testament to the engineering efforts that have been made to optimize performance," added Olivier Simon, deputy technical director and director of batteries at DxOMark , to the tests .
The Magic5 Lite model will be officially presented as part of the entire new Magic series at the MWC technology fair in Barcelona already on February 27.
