Sony Xperia 1 V in the first rendered images
Sony is preparing to launch the new Sony Xperia 1 V. Fans are already looking forward to this phone, but the competition is less so. The phone may threaten the sales of flagship phones of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. According to tipsters, it will offer a number of innovations, excellent cameras and great performance, which will be provided by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor. And we will see how the upcoming machine is doing with the design today, because its first rendered images have appeared on the network.
SONY XPERIA 1 V IN ALL ITS GLORY
The first rendered images are offered to us by the well-known designer OnLeaks, this time in collaboration with the GreenSmartphones site . When it comes to design, Sony has always put up with simplicity combined with elegance. The Sony Xperia 1 V is no different. It's true that it slightly copies the look of last year's Xperia 1 IV model , but there are partial design changes after all.
Traditionally, there are very narrow frames around the display, and the front camera lies slightly off-center towards the left. The screen is flat and so is the back. The corners of the phone are slightly rounded. The rear panel is dominated by the vertically placed oval module of the main camera. And it is here that we find minor changes compared to the camera of the Xperia 1 IV model. At the front, the ToF sensor and RGB IR sensor are missing in the module, and the manufacturer moved the LED flash directly into the module. But there are still three photo sensors, one of which is apparently periscopic.
On the top edge we find the headphone and microphone connector, on the bottom edge the USB-C port and the SIM card slot. On the side edges there is a volume rocker, a power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor and a camera shutter button. In addition to renderings, the designer also added several specifications. The dimensions of the Sony Xperia 1 V are 161.0 x 69.3 x 8.5 mm. It is therefore slightly smaller than the Xperia 1 IV. The flat screen has a diagonal of 6.5 inches, the screen type and resolution are not yet known. The front camera has a 12 MP sensor and in the main camera we expect a 12 MP primary sensor, a 48 MP wide-angle lens and a 12 MP telephoto lens. The battery is said to have a capacity of 5000 mAh and the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor is paired with 16 GB of RAM.
