The Realme brand introduced the Realme GT Neo 5 phone to the Chinese market yesterday. Fans have been eagerly waiting for it, as it is the fastest charging phone on the market so far. From the moment the manufacturer confirmed the date of the introduction, the 240 W charging was talked about in superlatives. But the tipsters did not forget to remind that the second version with 150 W charging will also go on the market . And it really is. In addition, the newly launched phone also has a unique design that clearly distinguishes it from other phones of other brands. And since the main specifications and features are not to be thrown away, let's take a look at them.

REALME GT NEO 5 DESIGN AND DISPLAY 

We have to praise the manufacturer for the design of the Realme GT Neo 5 phone. You really cared about him. Of course, we are mainly talking about the back panel, because the front panel is the same as many other phones. The rear panel is dominated by a large rectangular main camera module. It runs horizontally in the upper third of the back and is divided vertically into two halves.

The left half is slightly raised and there are two larger surrounds for the sensors, the LED flash lies to the right of them. However, the right half of the module is transparent and received a unique light element. It is a small rectangle with a luminous Halo RGB effect. The RGB LED backlight offers up to 25 different colors, 5 flashing speeds and can be customized by the user. The light is not only used for notifications of incoming calls or messages, but also flashes when playing games.

The display of the Realme GT Neo 5 is of the AMOLED type with a diagonal of 6.74 inches, a resolution of 2772 × 1240 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 40 Hz to 144 Hz. The screen supports brightness up to 1450 nits, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 2160 Hz PWM dimming.

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS 

The Realme GT Neo 5 is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor that provides enough performance. The chipset is paired with 8/12/16 GB of RAM and 256 GB and 1 TB of internal storage. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1/L5), GLONASS, NFC and USB-C. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display. The manufacturer also added stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. Of course, there is also improved cooling with a vapor chamber and several layers of graphite. The operating system is Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 superstructure.

Since one of the main draws is extra fast charging, we'll take a closer look at it. The version with 150 W charging has a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh and a 20V/8A charger. The second version of the Realme GT Neo 5 supports the already mentioned fast charging with a power of 240 W. It has a battery with a capacity of 4600 mAh and a 20V/12A charger. The manufacturer claims that 240W charging charges the battery to 20% in just 80 seconds, to 50% in 4 minutes and to 100% in less than 10 minutes. It is a respectable performance, but of course we pay extra for the version with 240 W charging.

PHOTO EQUIPMENT, PRICES AND AVAILABILITY 

The last item we haven't covered yet is photo gear. The main camera is triple with a primary 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor with a size of 1/1.56 inches, f/1.9 aperture and OIS support. The second, 8 MP sensor, functions as a wide-angle lens with a field of view of 112°, and the last macro lens has a resolution of 2 MP. The front camera received a 16 MP Samsung S5K3P9 sensor with f/2.45 aperture.

The Realme GT Neo 5 is coming to the market in white, black and purple. Pre-orders are already open in the Chinese market, with sales starting there on February 15/February. And the good news is that this machine will soon reach global markets. The Chinese prices of each version are as follows:
