Realme GT Neo 5 also has a confirmed version with 150 W charging
This week, in addition to OnePlus phones, we will also see new machines from Realme workshops. You can probably guess that it is the Realme GT Neo 5 model. So why are we talking about it in the plural? Simply because two versions of the phone will go on the market with different battery capacities and different charging speeds. The first version with extra fast charging with a power of 240 W was confirmed by the manufacturer a few days ago . So it will be the first phone with such charging.
REALME GT NEO 5 WITH 150W IS ALSO CONFIRMED
However, the Realme GT Neo 5 phone currently has a version with lower power charging. At least according to the teaser shared by tipsters on Weibo . Specifically, it is fast charging with a power of 150 W. We also see in the teaser that this version has a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. It is a single cell battery that is said to charge from zero to 100% in just 16 minutes, which is a great time.
If we were to compare it with the version with 240 W charging, we can see that this version has a two-cell battery with a total capacity of 4600 mAh. According to the manufacturer, the battery charges in just 9 minutes. And that sounds really cool. So which version to choose? For many of us, the version with 150 W charging would certainly be enough. However, there is one small catch, apart from battery capacity and charging speed, there is another difference between the two versions.
Indeed, tipsters claim that the Realme GT Neo 5 with 240 W charging is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, and this was also confirmed by Geekbench tests . Whereas the 150W charging version will reportedly get the Dimensity 8200 chipset. It's not a bad processor, but it's still less powerful than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. And this can be decisive for some potential buyers. According to tipsters, the other parameters of both versions are the same. The manufacturer has not yet confirmed this difference in specifications or processors, so let's wait to see if more trailers with this announcement appear on the network.
