OPPO Find N2 and OPPO Find N2 Flip officially introduced

OPPO has introduced the second generation of its top-of-the-line foldable smartphone line – the OPPO Find N2, the successor to the OPPO Find N and the first “folding” OPPO Find N2 Flip. The latest devices in the Find N series push the boundaries of what foldable smartphones can do. The Find N2 Flip will be OPPO's first device with this new type of design to launch globally next year.

As part of the two-day OPPO INNO Day, OPPO also introduced two new phones from the Find N series. The high-end folding smartphone OPPO Find N2 and flip-up OPPO Find N2 Flip are characterized by a thin and light construction, an almost invisible bend and top performance. Both smartphones will be available on the Chinese market after the presentation, and we can expect the OPPO Find N2 Flip on the European continent next year.

FIND N2 FLIP - AN IMPROVED FLIP SOLUTION

OPPO introduces the first flip smartphone OPPO Find N2 Flip. After three years of development, the Find N2 Flip solves many of the problems of previous flip phones.

• The largest external display of any flip phone. It allows users to have a better experience with a more useful portrait-oriented display that can be used to perform important everyday tasks, such as displaying up to six notifications at once and easier viewing of photos taken by the high-end camera system.
• The first flip-style foldable smartphone with all-day battery life thanks to a 4,300mAh battery and a proprietary MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset to improve power consumption.
• The second generation Flexion Hinge with an improved teardrop design, thanks to which the internal display has a virtually invisible bend .

Following today's launch in the Chinese market, OPPO will officially launch the Find N2 Flip in the global market, including most European countries, early next year. More details on the global version of the device will be released later.

OPPO FIND N2 – THE LIGHTEST HORIZONTALLY FOLDABLE PHONE ON THE MARKET

The OPPO Find N2 is the successor to OPPO's pioneering effort in the field of foldable smartphones, the Find N model, which was introduced at last year's INNO Day event. Weighing just 233 grams, the black version of the Find N2, which is covered in vegan leather, is the lightest horizontally foldable smartphone on the market, even lighter than some traditional flagship phones. At just 14.6 millimeters when closed, the Find N2 is also very thin. Together with the unique ratio of the internal landscape-oriented display to the full-size external display, inherited from the original Find N model, the OPPO Find N2 offers a practical and intuitive experience in everyday use.

THE SECOND GENERATION OF THE FLEXION HINGE

Based on the first generation Flexion Hinge, OPPO has created a smaller, thinner and more robust hinged opening system for the Find N2. The second-generation Flexion Hinge utilizes superior materials, including carbon fiber and aerospace-grade high-strength alloy. The patent is made of 100 components, which is 36 less than the previous generation. Together with the optimizations of the display and internal structure, the weight of the Find N2 has been significantly reduced, by 42 grams compared to the original Find N model.

The improved design of the second generation Flexion Hinge also brings an almost invisible bend compared to the previous Find N model. The bend along the center of the internal display of the Find N2 smartphone is 67% narrower, which guarantees a better experience for work and play. Also, thanks to the improved hinge, there is no gap between the two parts of the Find N2 when closed.

OPPO FIND N2 A OPPO FIND N2 – DISPLAY

Carbon fiber has also been incorporated into the Find N2's internal display, further reducing weight while making the phone even stronger. According to TUV laboratory tests, the Find N2 can be folded up to 400,000 times and still work without a problem.

The external and internal displays of the Find N2 work with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Color temperature sensors on both displays ensure that the image adjusts to gently and accurately reflect the surrounding environment.

The internal 7.1-inch display reaches a brightness of 1,550 nits and is equipped with an anti-reflective coating that improves visibility in outdoor environments. The external 5.54-inch display reaches a brightness of up to 1,350 nits. Thanks to the improved Flexion Hinge of the second generation, the frame of the external display has been reduced by 47% compared to the original Find N model.

TOP PERFORMANCE AND VERSATILE CAMERA

With Snapdragon® 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, high speed 5G, large 4,520mAh battery and 67W SUPERVOOC charging, Find N2 is one of the most powerful and fastest charging foldable smartphones.

The Find N2 has a brand new triple camera system. The camera is tuned in collaboration with the Hasselblad brand and with the powerful specialized imaging OPPO NPU MariSilicon X. The phone is equipped with FlexForm imaging for a versatile photography experience and taking studio-quality selfies.

The main 50 MP camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor ensures high quality photos. The 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera can also be used for macro shots, and the 32MP RGBW telephoto camera with 2x zoom reduces noise for better portraits and zooming.

COLOROS FEATURES TAILORED TO FOLDABLE DEVICES

OPPO Find N2 uses software customized for foldable devices, based on ColorOS 13, which integrates the best of Android 13, for an optimized software experience.

OPPO has further improved the split-screen experience, including the two-finger split-screen gesture introduced last year on the Find N. A two-finger swipe down the center of the 7.1-inch internal screen quickly and easily activates split-view, which takes full advantage of the large display .

In split view, you can easily take a screenshot of one or both running apps. A simple three-finger swipe down the left or right side will take a screenshot of that app, while a three-finger swipe down the center will capture the entire split view.

To make the most of the FlexForm mode, OPPO has also created a FlexForm Space feature for the Find N2. Just bend your device for one second to enter the FlexForm Space, where you can see your recently launched apps, movies and music. The Find N2 thus turns into a mini laptop, where you can, for example, watch a movie on the upper screen while using the lower screen as a trackpad.
