Xiaomi 13 Pro debuts with great equipment

The second phone that Xiaomi introduced yesterday is the Xiaomi 13 Pro model. And if you like the parameters of the standard model , the Pro model will surprise you even more. The equipment is truly top-notch and the design attractive. Therefore, it is obvious that this phone will be a strong competitor for all premium phones with Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor.

THE DESIGN AND DISPLAY OF THE XIAOMI 13 PRO MODEL 

Unlike the flat design of the Xiaomi 13, the appearance of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is curved. But not significantly so it looks attractive. The edges of the phone are also rounded and so are the corners of the body. Here too we find very subtle frames around the screen and in the center of its upper part the "hole" for the front camera. The rear panel is also curved on the sides and the main camera module is basically the same as the standard model in terms of appearance.

The display is E6 AMOLED type with LTPO technology. Its diagonal is 6.73 inches, the resolution is 3200 × 1440 pixels, and the refresh rate is dynamic from 1 to 120 Hz. The sampling frequency reached 240 Hz. Furthermore, we find HDR10+ support, 1920 HZ PWM dimming and a brightness of up to 1900 nits. There is also support for Dolby Vision and HLG. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS 

The Xiaomi 13 Pro is a premium phone, so it is clear that we will also find a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor with great performance here. In the case of a memory combination, 8/12 GB of LPDDR5X operating memory and 128/256/512 GB of internal UFS 4.0 storage are available. This means that reading and writing is significantly faster. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1/L5), NavIC, USB-C and NFC. As with the standard model, the fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display and we also find an IR blaster, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certification. Even in this case, resistance according to IP68 certification and improved liquid cooling are not missing. The phone is powered by a 4820mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.

PHOTO EQUIPMENT, PRICES AND AVAILABILITY 

The photo equipment of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is great. The main camera is triple with three 50 MP sensors. The Sony IMX989 primary sensor has a size of 1 inch, an aperture of f/1.9 and supports Hyper OIS. The second sensor is a wide-angle lens with a 115° field of view, and the third sensor works as a telephoto lens with 3.2x native zoom, Leica Floating Lens elements and OIS support. Here, too, the company Leica participated in the optics and software of the camera. The front camera has 32 MP.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in Ceramic White, Ceramic Black, Flora Green and Mountain Blue colors. Pre-orders in the Chinese market are already running, actual sales begin on December 14. The prices of the individual versions are as follows:

• 8GB/128GB - 4999 yuan ($719)
• 8GB/256GB - 5399 yuan ($776)
• 12GB/256GB - 5799 yuan ($834)
• 12GB/512GB - 6299 yuan ($905)
