Vivo's Android 13 based Funtouch OS 13 is out
vivo has officially launched the new operating system Funtouch OS 13 in the European markets. This improved operating system is based on the newly released Android 13. It adds new personalization options, improved privacy and security features and more controls. Vivo strives to provide a welcoming system to customers, allowing them to express their creativity and uniqueness through it.
ADD PERSONALIZED ELEMENTS TO YOUR SCREEN
Funtouch OS 13 gives users more visual control over the home screen. With the monochrome icon feature, users can now change their color on the home screen to match the wallpaper, system and app interfaces. In addition, the new system allows customers to customize the colors of the system's user interface and built-in applications. And that includes notification panels, volume control, calculator and clock. It can use colors from the user's preferred wallpaper or theme and apply them to the application interface to determine the appropriate color shade. This gives the device a more personal look.
FUNTOUCH OS 13 – MORE PROTECTION AND SECURITY
The new app pinning feature helps secure sensitive data and gives users more peace of mind about their security and privacy. If another person is using the device, the two-level pinning feature keeps the selected app in sight and prevents access to other apps on the device. The update also allows customers to hide photos and videos and selectively choose different apps to access specific photos, preventing unwanted viewing on the device and further enhancing privacy.
IMPROVED CONTROLS AND EASY-TO-USE FEATURES FOR GREATER CONVENIENCE
To create a clearer environment, the Funtouch OS 13 system is equipped with an improved application management - iManager, which helps to monitor the usage time of applications. If CPU usage is too high, users can shut down that app with a single tap. iManager can also prevent overheating by reducing the number of active applications and adjusting the CPU frequency based on the Phone cooling function. Apart from the weather update, there is also an AQI card available on the panel which checks the latest air quality information in the form of the PM2.5 index.
FUNTOUCH OS 13 – PHOTOGRAPHY
The vivo company is known for its focus on creating quality photos. The new professional viewfinder makes shooting easier with a new stabilization ring that helps reduce the effects of hand shake. The new operating system has also improved the video editing process, allowing users to mute video audio while editing footage and precisely adjust the volume of individual parts, helping to take video creation to a professional level.
Accessibility controls have improved color correction, inversion, and also the ability to remove animations for users with specific needs, such as the visually impaired. Funtouch OS 13 will gradually be available to customers from November this year depending on individual models.
