Samsung Galaxy S22 phones get stable One UI 5.0
After several rounds of testing, Samsung testers successfully protested to a stable version of the One UI 5.0 superstructure. The new user interface is based on Android 13, which Google introduced for Pixel phones back in August of this year. Owners of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra models can look forward to an early update to the new version of the superstructure and the Android 13 system. But there is one small catch. Samsung Galaxy S22 phones must be powered by the Exynos 2200 processor, so this means that the update will only be available in some markets. At the same time, this also means that the Samsung Galaxy S22 phones sold in Europe will also get it.
The update for the Galaxy S22 series is reportedly already rolling out in Italy, Norway, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. However, other European countries can prepare for the distribution of the update literally in the next few hours. The size of the update is 2.8 GB and the firmware version is marked S90xBXXU2BVJA. So just check on your phone whether the update has already arrived. Before installation, you need to have enough space on your phone and a sufficiently charged battery.
Of course, in addition to the Android 13 update, the new version of the user interface also offers many improvements. Samsung has added a bunch of new customization features, both automatic and manual. So you can customize your phone to your liking.
