Collaborative intelligent music playback in ColorOS 13

OPPO has announced a new partnership with music streaming platform Spotify. Their joint goal is to create a completely new, simple and customizable music experience on OPPO smartphones through the latest ColorOS 13 operating system running on Android.

By fully integrating Spotify with the many new smart features of ColorOS 13, listeners can now enjoy music, podcasts and audiobooks with easier access and convenient control of Spotify on the home screen of their OPPO device.

OPPO AND SPOTIFY

Users of OPPO smart devices with the ColorOS 13 operating system will have easier access to the Spotify music application. The new solution includes:

• Smart Always-On-Display (AOD): AOD gives Spotify listeners a new way to have their music, podcasts and audiobooks at their fingertips. Spotify users can now see what Spotify is currently playing by simply looking at the AOD and double-tapping the music control panel without opening the device. Integration with AOD also allows users to control the playback of their favorite audio content from Spotify and access Spotify content recommendations – all without having to unlock the device.
• Shelf : The new Shelf feature in ColorOS 13 includes a built-in Spotify tab that includes content recommendations on Spotify. At the same time, users can access their favorite music in the Spotify application with just a swipe of their finger.
• Home screen widgets: A Spotify widget can also be added to the ColorOS 13 home screen for quick and easy access to the app.
• Clock : The integration with the alarm clock in the Clock app in ColorOS 13 allows users to wake up every morning with their favorite Spotify songs, playlists, and podcasts.
