iQOO Z6 and Z6x debuted on the Chinese market

Smartphone manufacturers have decided to mess with our heads a bit lately. Or they want to keep us on our toes. This is because they release the same phones with different names in different markets, or even phones with the same names but different specifications for different markets. And this second case just happened with the iQOO brand. Yesterday , it released the iQOO Z6 and Z6x models in China, but it introduced the first of them and its Pro version on the Indian market in the spring. But the newly released machines have different specifications than their Indian namesakes, so we'll recap them today.

SPECIFICATIONS OF IQOO Z6 

As always, we will start with the display of the iQOO Z6 phone. It is an LCD type with a diagonal of 6.64 inches, a resolution of 2388 × 1080 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 30 to 120 Hz. The sampling frequency reached 240 Hz and the brightness reached 650 nits. There is also support for 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

On the post of the processor, we find the Snapdragon 778G, which was complemented by 8/12 GB of operating memory and 128/256 GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 80 W. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4 Hz/5 Hz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1/L5), GLONASS, USB-C and NFC. The fingerprint sensor is located on the edge of the phone. The operating system is Android 12 with the OriginOS Ocean superstructure. The front camera lies in the "hole" at the top of the screen and has 8 MP. The main camera consists of a primary 64 MPix sensor with OIS support and two 2 MP sensors for macro photography and capturing depth of field.

SPECIFICATIONS OF IQOO Z6X 

This phone received a 6.58-inch LCD display with a teardrop notch, a resolution of 2408 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is powered by a Dimensity 810 processor with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 6000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 44 W. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4 Hz/5 Hz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1/L5), GLONASS, USB-C, NFC and 3.5 mm audio jack. Even in this case, the fingerprint sensor is on the edge of the device. The operating system is Android 12 with the OriginOS Ocean superstructure. The main camera is made up of 50 MP and 2 MP sensors, with the latter acting as a macro lens.

The iQOO Z6 and Z6x come in Jade Black, Golden Orange and Star Sea Blue colors. They are already in pre-order status in the Chinese market, sales start on September 1st, and the prices are as follows:
