MIUI 13 beta built on Android 13 ready
Two days ago, Google announced that Android 13 is here and it's coming to the entire line of Pixel phones. They are slowly receiving the update and later it will also be available on phones from many other companies. Among the first to announce that they have finished their user interface based on the new version of Android is OnePlus. Their OxygenOS 13 build in open beta is already ready for the OnePlus 10 Pro phone. Now Xiaomi also reports that it has a MIUI 13 update in the beta version. But for now, it is only available for the global models of the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro phones.
MIUI 13 BETA FOR GLOBAL XIAOMI 12 AND XIAOMI 12 PRO
On the website of the Mi community , we find a notice that the beta version of the MIUI 13 superstructure built on Android 13 is reserved for only 200 testers. You must sign up for the Mi Pilot test program. Another condition is, of course, that the testers are also owners of the global phones Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. It also applies that those who apply first will be given priority during testing.
Mi community representatives recommend testers to join the Telegram channel for more detailed information about the update via OTA. To be sure, we remind you again that it is highly desirable to back up all personal and important data before updating. Testers also have to take into account that some third-party apps are not yet compatible with Android 13 and MIUI 13 beta, so they may not work. Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro phones must be running MIUI Global Stable ROM to install the update. And their owners must be members of the Mi community and have a Mi account.
MIUI 13.0.4.0 TLBMIXM is available for Xiaomi 12 owners, while MIUI 13.0.4.0 TLBMIXM is coming for Xiaomi 12 Pro owners. The size of the update is 4.2 GB in the first case and 4.3 GB in the second case, and it also includes the August security patch.
