Folding Google Pixel is postponed again
Quite a few established smartphone manufacturers have included folding phones in their portfolios. The market leader in this segment is clearly played by Samsung, which has been sending two types of folding machines to the market for several years. And for a similarly long time, there is also talk that a folding Google Pixel is in preparation. In fact, tippers have indicated several times that this folding phone will appear on the market soon. Last September, they even believed that Google would launch it by the end of the year. But that didn't happen.
So we are still waiting for the folding Google Pixel, but at the beginning of this year another promising look appeared on the network that the phone will get a change of business name and Google Pixel Fold will be Google Pixel Notepad. Its construction is said to be a bit like the Oppo Find N folding model , which Oppo introduced with great glory at the end of last year. And again, it has been speculated that Google will launch its folding phone at the I / O developer conference this spring. And we probably all know how it turned out.
WHEN WILL THE FOLDING GOOGLE PIXEL FINALLY ARRIVE?
If you now think that the folding Google Pixel will debut soon, or along with the Pixel 7 series phones, you're wrong. It's just the opposite. The well-known Ross Young published a short message on Twitter that Google had postponed the launch of its folding phone again. Don't wait for him this year, but maybe next spring he will finally be released. But even that is a big question so far.
Young says Google is still not happy with the result and needs some time to get the phone ready. There are still problems with the display and there is also speculation that Google is waiting for a new generation of Tensor processors. There is also talk that the software of the folding machine is not yet properly tuned. So we have to keep waiting and believe that next spring the launch of the folding Pixel will work.
