Oppo Reno 8 phones are officially launched 

Oppo has been planning to expand its Reno product line for some time. Oppo Reno 8 phones have been discussed in detail on the network for quite some time, and yesterday the manufacturer officially introduced them exactly according to plan . The range is a popular classic in the Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro Plus models. The phones have almost the same design, but differ in their specifications, which we will now look at.

OPPO RENO 8 PHONES AND THEIR COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS 

First, let's look at what Oppo Reno 8 phones have displays. The Standard and Pro models have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display and a 6.62-inch "hole" for the front camera in the upper left corner. The Pro Plus model has a slightly larger 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a "hole" in the center of the top. The refresh rate for the Oppo Reno 8 reached 90 Hz and for the Pro and Pro Plus 120 Hz. The Pro and Pro Plus phone displays also support HDR10 + and the resolution for all three models is FullHD +. In all three cases, a fingerprint sensor is also integrated into the screen.

The main difference between the individual models can be found in the processors used. The standard Reno 8 received a Dimensity 1300 chipset with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. The Reno 8 Pro has a brand new Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor with the same memory configuration as the standard model. And the top version of the Reno 8 Pro Plus is powered by the Dimensity 8100 Max with 8/12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. All three Oppo Reno 8 phones have a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh and support for fast charging with a power of 80 W. Connectivity in all three cases is represented by 5G SA / NSA, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C and NFC. The operating system is Android 12 with the ColorOS 12.1 extension.

PHOTO EQUIPMENT 

The Opoo Reno 8 phones have triple main cameras, but the resolution of the individual sensors varies. The standard model received a 50 MPix primary sensor with PDAF support and two 2 MPix sensors for macro photography and depth-of-field capture. The Pro model also has a primary 50 MPix sensor with PDAF support, but is complemented by an 8 MPix wide angle lens and a 2 MPix macro lens. The same set of photo sensors can be found in the Pro Plus model. The front camera has 32 MPix on all three phones. In addition, the Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro Plus also have a MariSilicon X NPU chip for better camera performance.

PRICES AND AVAILABILITY 

Oppo Reno 8 is available in 8 GB / 128 GB, 8 GB / 256 GB and 12 GB / 256 GB memory versions at 2499 yuan ($ 376), 2699 yuan ($ 406) and 2999 yuan ($ 451). The Reno 8 Pro sells with the same memory versions and priced at 2,999 yuan ($ 451), 3,199 yuan ($ 481) and 3,499 yuan ($ 527). The manufacturer offers both phones in Clear Sky Blue, Slightly Drunk and Night Tour Black. Sales in the Chinese market start on June 1 / June. The Oppo Reno 8 Pro Plus will sell 8 GB / 256 GB and 12 GB / 256 GB at 3,699 yuan ($ 557) and 3,999 yuan ($ 602) in Mint, Roaming Gray and Black. Sales begin June 22.
