Asus ROG Phone 6 gets a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor
After relatively much speculation and a long wait, Qualcomm has introduced its new processors . First of all, it is the flagship chipset Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 and also the middle class chipset Snapdragon 7 Gen1. Their introduction took place two days ago. And some smartphone manufacturers are already announcing that they will soon be launching their premium phones with the first of these processors. We know from the past that phones with this chipset are being prepared by, for example, Motorola, OnePlus and / or Samsung. Asus with its Asus ROG Phone 6 and Realme with Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will be added.
ASUS ROG PHONE 6 WILL BE THE FIRST GAMING MACHINE WITH SNAPDRAGON 8+ GEN1
Almost immediately after the launch of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, Asus published a simple trailer on social networks . According to her, the Asus ROG Phone 6 will be launched on the Chinese and global markets very soon. Global fans in particular have reacted positively to this announcement. Phone 6 will be the first gaming phone with a "plus" flagship Snapdragon processor. We will find out about other possible specifications of the upcoming gaming phone in the coming days.
The same information is shared by the Realme brand, but can only be found in Weibo, China . They also report that they are already preparing the flagship Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. However, unlike Asus, which confirmed the Asus ROG Phone 6 for global markets, Realme is still silent about the launch of the upcoming GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. Nor does it state when this phone will be introduced and what parameters we can expect. Judging by previous versions of Realme GT Master Edition and Master Explorer Edition, we can expect Realme to work with Japanese designer Naot Fukasawa on them again.
And which other companies can introduce phones with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset? In addition to the already mentioned companies Motorola and Oneplus, there is also talk of Black Shark, Xiaomi, Vivo and also Oppo. In the case of Xiaomi, we are still waiting for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, OnePlus is preparing the OnePlus 10 Ultra, and the Motorola Frontier and Moto Edge 30 Ultra have also been talked about for a long time.
