Google Pixel 6A is in series production

After the launch of a very successful phone from the Pixel 6 series, we are also waiting for the introduction of their cheaper sibling, the Google Pixel 6A model. We already have quite a bit of information about it, including the fact that Google will give it the same own Tensor processor as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones and it has FCC certification . The design of the upcoming Pixel 6A will also be very similar. We just don't know if the launch will really take place at an I / O developer conference, as the tipsters estimate . Google has not confirmed anything yet.

But now on Twitter , the well-known tipper Mukul Sharma shares the information that the Google Pixel 6A is already in series production in some Asian countries. This basically means that Google will send it to these as yet unspecified markets, and the launch of the phone can really take place later this month. So if nothing unexpected happens, we will see Pixel 6A on May 11 or 12. However, the phone may appear on the market much later, according to some estimates, even on July 28th / July.

WHAT DOES GOOGLE PIXEL 6A OFFER US? 

According to Google that it has started mass production in several countries, estimates that it will be sold in more markets than Pixel 5A are likely to be confirmed. It could only be purchased in the USA and Japan. As we have already mentioned, the design of the Google Pixel 6A is the same or very similar to the original Pixels 6. It therefore has the same main camera and a "hole" for the front camera in the middle of the top of the screen. The display has a diagonal of 6.2 inches and an integrated fingerprint sensor.

The main camera consists of a primary 12.2 MPix sensor and a 12 MPix wide angle lens. The selfie camera has a resolution of 8 MPix. The phone powers the same processor as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro models, the Tensor GS101. It is complemented by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. There is also talk of a battery with a capacity of 4800 mAh and support for 33 W fast charging. And of course, the operating system is Android 12.
