Honor Play 30 has passed the Chinese MIIT certification

Chinese Honor has recently been profiled as a very active brand in almost all categories. They currently dominate the Chinese market and have managed to definitively shake off the stigma of the original parent Huawei. They even succeeded in a high-end hussar stunt, where their Magic4 Ultimate still rules the prestigious DxOMark rankings. The cheaper market segments, where the Honor Play line, for example, has not neglected, are not neglected either. It got from the original "almost" gaming phones to almost the low-end. And the upcoming Honor Play 30 will not be different again.
The basic model of the series is again not the first introduced, because in December last year we could see the Honor Play 30 Plus 5G . He did not dazzle otherwise and especially the set price was not attractive for potential customers. Maybe the basic version of the series will be a bit better, but we have no idea yet. The phone has so far only gone through several certification processes. Fresh , for example, in the Chinese MIIT, which also revealed a number of its specific parameters.
LOW-END AS EMBROIDERED
We already know that the Honor 30 Play will again be a 5G piece with an octa-core processor. The Dimensity 700 chipset is offered as a very probable candidate, because it is basically the cheapest option. And the effort to save is known in almost all the specifications of this phone… For example, for cameras where the pair of sensors of the main set is only 13 Mpx + 5 Mpx. This is really extreme these days, because you can't even expect extra quality sensors. Of course, megapixels are not everything, but in this case they paint a clear picture.
The same goes for the 10W battery charge. We do not know the capacity, but we can estimate around 5000 mAh. But 10W is truly a dinosaur power. The phone has very similar physical parameters to the Plus variant, so the design will probably be almost the same. Specifically, with a thickness of 8.68 mm and a weight of 194 g. The display will also probably only get HD + resolution again. Honor 30 Play looks like an absolute low-end, so we'd rather wait for something more interesting. The company is already working on the Honor 70…
