No more speculation and (un) insider information about another potential POCO hit. The planned POCO F4 series was generally expected to be introduced by the end of April. Today we have officially confirmed at least one of its representatives, because the company boasted of the date of introduction of the POCO F4 GT model. It will take place on April 26 at 20:00 Chinese time and will be a purely online event. It will be available for monitoring on Facebook, Twitter and other channels, and we will of course monitor everything. So we'll give you the latest news on this piece right away.

And the POCO F4 GT will definitely be worth it, even though it's most likely not a brand new model. It has been speculated for some time that this is basically just a rebranded Redmi K50 Gaming . And the listings of certification agencies or benchmarks only confirmed this. Of course, this is not bad news, because the February Redmi K50 Gaming is a purely Chinese model. POCO F4 GT will probably be a global variant with hopefully also in our market.

POWER TO GIVE AWAY 

We get a large 6.67-inch OLED display with FullHD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Or the flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 along with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. This is not a middle class, but a high-end phone, at least in terms of performance. This will only underline the 4700 mAh capacity of the battery with 120W charging. The cameras will be slightly dietary, but this is still expected from a (partially) gaming phone. Even so, they will be solid with a combination of 64 Mpx Sony IMX686, 8 Mpx ultra-wide and 2 Mpx macro sensors. Alternatively 20 Mpx Sony IMX596 selfie camera.

Of course, the key will be the set price. POCO phones are always sent to the market with a very good price tag and the POCO F4 GT will hopefully be no exception. But we still can't hope for the Chinese Redmi K50 Gaming price, which started at $ 520. We will find out everything important on April 26, so be sure to check this date on your calendar.
